In the TS of gut we find two plexi...........they are Aurebach's plexus=Myenteric plexus and Meissener's plexus=sub-mucosal plexus .

Myenteric plexus has parasympathetic nerves and the other one has sympathetic nerves. So, to remember this...........

mnemonic: ducts in pancreas

here are two pancreatic ducts.............

Main pancreatic duct - Wirsung duct

Accessory pancreatic duct - Duct of Santorini

To remember this just u have to remwmber that W is inverted M . In this way first one can be remebered and the left out is for second one.

salivary gland ducts... a mnemonic

Regarding salivary glands and their ducts.............

Parotid - Stenson's duct

Sub-maxillary - Wharton's duct

Sub-lingual - Duct of Rivinus

blood cells relative abundance

Never Let Monkeys Eat Banana's ..it gives relative abundance of the cells in the blood plasma in descending order.. neutrophils > llymphocytes> monocytes> eosinophils> basophils.. this one was not made by me...

etc in mitochondria

It is for the ETC in mitochondria...

there r 5 complexes in inner mitochondrial membrane...

the electron flow is like this..

FMN ----> FeS ------> Co Q(coenzyme Q or ubiqionone) --- reduced CoQ ---> cyt b--->FeS ----> cyt c-----> cyt a---> cyt a3 ----> to oxygen ion.

or if FADH2 is present, then FAD ----> FeS ---> coQ then the pathway is similar...

so for this, i came up with a mnemonic...

Fins of Foetus of Corkfish and Belly of Cat arent Analogous stri (girl in sanskrit)

every ' of' stands for FeS ...

Corkfish = CoQ

arent = cyt a

analogous stri = cyt a3

belly = cyt b

FINS = FMN

Foetus = FAD

plz develop it if possible.. but it is more than enough for biology students to memorise this cycle/...

Mnemonic: etc photosynthesis.... the best mnemonic i ever created..

the electron transport chain during photosynthesis...

there is one Z- scheme and one cyclic pathway... cyclic pathway is the main one and is most important as Z-scheme is just an extension of cyclic pathway...

so here it is..

plastoquinone(PQ) ----> reduced plastoquinone(PQH2)-----> FeS ---> cytochrome f (cyt-f) ---> plastocyanin (PC) -----> P-700---> FeS --> Ferradoxin (FD)------> cytochrome b (cyt b) ---> again PQ...

now... this can be memorised as ... Parrot Pocketed fully filled plastic cans 700 to Fill its Food breaking site

breaking site = cyt b

food = Ferradoxin

Plastic can = plastocyanin

Mnemonic:12 pairs of cranical nerve in order

"On - olfactory

The - trigeminal

Attractive - abducens

Faces - facial

Are - auditory

Girl - glassophyrengeal

Visitors - vagus

Singing - spinal accessory

Happily! - hypoglossal.

howz that! these are tyhe types of cranial nerves in sequence !!!!!!!!

hope this will help u to remember all nerves ....." - courtesy sandesh raut.
